BUILT BY A GUITAR PLAYER. FOR GUITAR PLAYERS.
Goldenrod Guitars was built around a simple idea: great guitar work shouldn't have to cost a fortune.
From everyday setups to major repairs and custom projects, every guitar that comes through the shop gets the same attention to detail, craftsmanship, and respect.
Goldenrod Guitars was born out of a deep love for music and craftsmanship. With a lifelong passion for playing the guitar and over three decades of experience in the industry, Goldenrod Guitars is dedicated to providing quality work at an affordable price. As a graduate of the Southeast Guitar Repair Academy and having learned from renowned luthiers like Armand Sentous, Tyler Unger, Tim Teel, and Barrett Culpepper, our founder brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. Come see why we are your go-to repair shop!
HOW GOLDENROD GOT HERE
Goldenrod Guitars started with a love for guitars, a desire to build things with my hands, and a whole lot of curiosity about what makes these instruments tick.
What started as an interest in guitar building and repair grew into a full-blown passion for bringing guitars back to life and making them play their absolute best.
Today, Goldenrod Guitars is focused on one thing: doing good work and treating people right.
Whether you've got a beat-up old favorite, a brand-new instrument that needs dialing in, or a crazy idea you've been wanting to build, I'm always up for the challenge.
Every guitar has a story.
I just get to help write the next chapter.
The Goldenrod Way
Quality
Do It Right
We don't believe in rushing through a guitar just to get it out the door. The little details matter.
Value
Fair Prices
Professional workmanship shouldn't require a second mortgage. We work hard to provide quality service at a fair price.
Relationships
Treat People Right
You're trusting us with an instrument that means something to you. We don't take that lightly.
More Than A Repair Bench
Goldenrod Guitars isn't a production line.
It's a working guitar shop where every instrument gets individual attention.
Setups, repairs, electronics, fretwork, acoustic restoration, CNC work, custom modifications—we're constantly learning, building, fixing and finding better ways to do things.
And yeah, sometimes the shop gets a little covered in sawdust.
That's usually a good sign.
Always Learning. Always Building.
Great guitar work is a never-ending learning process.
I've had the opportunity to learn from some incredibly talented builders and repair technicians, and those relationships have shaped the way I approach the craft.
From electric and acoustic guitar building to repair, fretwork, setup techniques and restoration, I'm constantly working to sharpen the skills behind the bench.
BRING ME YOUR GUITAR. LET'S FIGURE IT OUT.
Maybe your guitar just needs a setup.
Maybe it needs a little more love.
Maybe you've got an idea that nobody else seems willing to tackle.
Whatever it is, let's talk about it.
No judgment. No pressure. Just a guitar player, a workbench, and a willingness to figure it out.
Stay tuned, my friends.
